Tom Bailey is an energy and climate expert with 14 years experience across the political, private, public and third sectors. He has spent eight years as a Sustainability Consultant at global engineering firm Arup, with a six month secondment to the Greater London Authority as climate team technical lead, and spent six years at C40 Cities as Head of Research and then Head of Special Projects.

He has expertise in developing local, regional and national energy and climate strategies, energy system and green building design, carbon accounting, sustainable consumption and the wider systemic transformation required to deliver a truly thriving society.
He has lived and worked in the UK, US and China, has a Physics BSc from the University of Manchester, a Sustainable Energy MSc from Imperial College London and is a Chartered Environmentalist with the UK Energy Institute.
