Phil Cumming

Phil is Global Head of Sustainability for Walgreens Boots Alliance’s Global Brands division where he’s responsible for the sustainability strategy for a portfolio of WBA health & beauty brands including Boots own label.

Prior to joining WBA, Phil developed and managed the delivery of world-class sustainability programmes for M&S plc, Kingfisher plc and London 2012 Olympic Games & Paralympic Games. Phil sits on Resource Futures board (a B Corp) as well as B Lab’s Standards Advisory Council Multinational Subcommittee, UKRI’s Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge Advisory Group and Future-Fit’s Expert Council. He also chaired the creation of BS 8001 believed to be world’s first circular economy business standard.
